Tough Mudder

So I am planning to complete my first Tough Mudder this year! What are the best exercises/programs to prepare for it?

Any advice would be awesome!

  • Thanks! I love that there is an alternative exercise for pullups, I am presently unable to do those, so that will help a lot! Good luck in your Mud Run!

    Since their alternative seemed to be pushing one pound weights around (of course you could use heavier, but still...) you might want to look into pull up progressions.

    If there is a fitness trail in your area, many of those have similar activities to those suggested for obstacle training, including pull up bars at various heights so that you can gradually increase your angle.
