Hi to everyone! It's great to connect with all of you. It's nice to have people with a common goal. We might all have different health goals, but we are bound together by a desire to change our life in such a positive way! I communicate for a living, so the more interaction for me the better! Feel free to ADD ME and contact me anytime. I have a LOT to learn and will be reaching out to you for advice and support. Thanks!! RJ, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Thanks for the request! I'm more than willing to be communicative (I'm an English Linguistics major, so the more language the better!) I took a year of Arabic but don't ask me to speak it, I didn't do well in that class and barely passed!

I am 30, recently married, and have a goal to lose 100 pounds. I am currently 228. I am a little worried that my goal is set too low, my husband thinks I should be aiming for 150-160 (I'm 5'7.) But we'll see as I get closer!

I love reading, anything really, and embarrassingly, I love cartoons. My favorite authors are Stephen King and Neil Gaiman.

Well, I am going to lose 90 first, and the go from there. I feel if I lose the 90 pounds AND get fit then I will feel and look good. I am 51 and have been married for 24 years and have a 20 & 18 year old. So, it's my time!

    Hello!
I've been using the MFP app for a while but didn't realize there was such a vibrant community until I actually got online. Is there a way to be part of the community through the app? I definitely need to be part of a like-minded community to keep going, I'm already slipping after only a couple of weeks of tracking!
