a couple questions

hello MFP i am 30pds over weight and am wanting to select the lose 2pds a week method. Also i would like to start jumping rope and would like your thoughts and suggestions. i have been 20pds over weight for at least 5 years and was wondering if should succeed in my goal, would i have stretch marks?

should i take nutrition shakes and eat calories burned?

i have many questions.

    2 lbs per week is not realistic for the weight loss you are aiming for. Reset your goals to 0.5 to 1 lb per week. It will be slower, but healthier, easier to not give up and to not exhaust yourself.

    30 Lbs over weight I really doubt you will have stretch marks. Even if you do they will be minor and disappear in time. Only take a protein shake if you are not able to meet your protein needs for the day. Get all your nutrients naturally as much as possible. Lastly if you have it set up to lose 2 lbs per week it builds a calorie deficit for you, so yes eat the calories burned.
