Exercises with a sprained foot, help?!

Hello,
So I've finally got back into running this week, never had any problems and this morning I unfortunately slipped on some stairs and I have hurt my foot to the point where I can't walk on it!
(Hospital after work!)
Is there anyone with any advice to exercises I can do (aside from Abs/arms) but cardio that might have the safe effect as running?
Any advice offered on how to speed up recovery would be great as well as I've never suffered an injury like this before!

You can try riding your bike. Low impact on your feet knees. Though if you can't walk on it then I would think just rest would be my advice until you can stand on it again.0
