Resistance training means that you are pushing and pulling things.

Strength training means that you are providing continuously more resistance (aka, getting stronger).

Weight training means you are using heavy things, like metal or sandbags, to achieve those results.

For example, instead of a 5 lb. dumbbell, you could do bicep curls with a resistance tube rated at 5 lbs. or just the right angle of TRX style suspensions straps to put 5 lbs. of your body weight into the exercise. It is all still resistance training, but the resistance tube and bodyweight are no longer weight training. If you are still using 5 lbs. of any of them next month, you are not building any strength.
