Anyone Knowledgeable about FitBit's?

Hey FitBit friends. It looks like the FitBit Force basically takes the place of your watch? Can you clean it regularaly so it doesn't get gunky and sweaty after a workout? I'm just very curious how many steps I take. Want to push myself!

    Hi!
I bought a Force the first week of January. I love it. It isn't waterproof, so you can't swim or shower in it (not a big deal for me). I clean it with an alcohol wipe. Holds a charge nicely and definitely makes you aware of how much you are or are not moving. I hike a lot, so it's a good option for me...If I see I'm a little short of my goal, I might take another trail or something to get those steps in. MFP can sync with the fitbit app, so if you do an activity it doesn't track well (like cycling) you simply go into MFP and tell it what you did and at what time and it makes the necessary calorie adjustments on the fitbit...although it doesn't show up as "steps." Some reviewers complained about the latch on the watch, but I haven't had a single problem with mine. I could see where if you were rough with it and catching it on things it might come undone but I haven't had this problem at all. Good luck with your decision! :)
