What fast food restaurant besides Subway has low calorie menu items? I love Subway but I am looking for different options.

Taco bell has their fresco menu that is better than the regular stuff.
Wendy's has some healther options as well...backed potato, chili,

thin crisp veggie pizza is usually low cal as well

Not sure where else since I try not to eat out as much...good luck :)

I've always wanted to try the chili at Wendys but I've heard nothing but horror stories, at least about the one here. I've heard good things about the Taco Bell Fresco menu but have yet to try it. I say just eat less of what you'd normally get. That's what I try to do anyway, and it's been helping.

Most places have at least a few salad options-- just be SURE to stay away from anything fried (or 'cruncy') as well as croutons, shredded cheese, and any creamy dressings. If there is no low-fat dressing available, salsa is delish on salads, or even hot sauce will work in a pinch if you're OK with spicy food.

Anything grilled instead of fried is a good choice. Or, add a side salad instead of fries with low-cal dressing. Panera has a few low calorie soups and most sandwhich places can be modified to be healthy (no mayo or cheese, etc).

    Good luck :)

The Jr. Cheeseburger at Wendy's has about as many calories as a sub from Subway. I would say the same is probably true of other kid-sized hamburgers/cheeseburgers as long as you don't add mayo or bacon.
