What will happen if I boil apples with my tea?

I have some apple camomile tea that has a good smell and aftertaste, but it doesn't taste like much as you drink it. I feel like it needs some extra flavor, but I don't like putting honey or sugar in my tea since it seems to overpower its natural essence and makes me feel like I have 40 extra chins. So that's why I'm wondering what will happen if I boil apples in the same kettle I pour my tea from. I figure it'll add some calories to it, but being a natural sugar, I don't think it'll be much, plus it's probably healthier for you than sugar or honey. Though I'm not sure if I want to waste an apple if it turns out it doesn't add any flavor whatsoever...

So, anyone know or have an estimate of what will happen?

I bet it would end up being about the same as putting a tablespoon of applesauce in the cup. Might be interesting, actually. Let us know how it goes.

Maybe you can add some apple juice to your tea.
