So MFP says I should be eating 3,000 calories a day but I have only been eating between 1200-1800 a day since I started on MFP about a week ago. I have lost 10 pounds so far. So my question is should I stay with what I have been doing or should I eat more and if so how much? 3,000 just seems to high and I don't feel I could even eat that much a day.

Thanks!

I used this site to figure how many calories I should eat: http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/

As a male you should eat a lot more than 1200 calories. Losing 10 lbs in a week is okay for your first week or so, but shouldn't be the norm for the long term.
