Not meeting my calorie goals, I'm under by about 400 or so daily. I feel awful. It's upper resperatory so I don't feel like any cardio at all, not sure if is should push it and go moderate or just go for weights... Ideas?

I'm also backing off the Byetta down to 5mcg instead of 10mcg x's 2/day because it kills appetite.

I'm at work but I wish I was sleeping right now. *sigh*

Oh and my ticker has stopped tracking weight lost for some reason. yay.

  • Hmm.. don't do to much and totally wear your self down, it'll weaken your system and impeed (sp) you better, however doing light workouts may help you. Also to up your cal intake, you could try 'drinking' your cals. Drink a protien shake, also to help you feel better you may get some juice high in vit c.

Not the 'best' advice but it works for me.. When I feel I'm getting sick I make hot tea with spoonfull of honey and a shot of whiskey, or Dr Pepper with a shot of whiskey (i like Jack) warm.

Hope you feel better soon. :)

I would avoid working out all together babe. ESPECIALLY since you're not even meeting your calorie goal without the exercise. Let your body heal. You won't do too much damage not working out because you're not over eating. I would try and at least come close to your calorie goal. Maybe a shake or even some hot soup? Feel better!

thanks everyone, jack and Dr pepper sounds sooo good as does juice, however I have to be extreemly carefull w/juice due to blood sugar. I'm mostly off insulin, but glucose can still shoot up if I get too much easily absorbed sugar at once.

Drambuie is my alchahol of choice when sick, but I still have to watch it w/the sugar. :drinker:

I just hate losing conditioning... again. oh well. I'm thinking artificial fever time in the bathtub, maybe with some epsom salts too. I hear magnesium is absorbed that way and helpful with joints and blood sugar, oddly enough.

Thanks for the well wishes too. :flowerforyou:
