Favoring one leg, balance issues?

Level 1, Day 3 done of 30 Day Shred today. Does anyone have experience with muscle imbalance? For my history, I had an accident that involved my left knee. I didn't THINK that I was off-balance, but my right thigh is WAY more sore after today than my left one.
Am I doing too much? Should I consider resting tomorrow? I have not had a rest day and didn't plan to, is this a bad idea?

ALSO: I'm doing the Special K challenge where I eat one bowl of cereal for two meals for two weeks. Is this too much deficit?
