That's only 200 calories difference between the 2 numbers if I'm reading right. That's a very small amount. Either pick one or do the average of the two.

this TDEE formula is really just a starting point because it's just a formula based on averages and you are an individual. mathematically individual numbers within a sample are rarely exactly equal to the average. just pick a number, and experiment. your tdee will more than likely end up being somewhere over or under that initial number you start with.

I just use the numbers scooby gives me by default http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/. It's been pretty accurate for me (I don't even know where to find the other formula anyway).

It's trial and error. Try that, and if you're not losing as fast as you like, cut 100 calories.

You've lost 126 pounds in 3 years? That's AWESOME! I'm tempted to tell you that you know by now what you're doing and should just listen to your body to tell you what's right.

But here's my thoughts, if you're only 8 pounds from your goal weight, choosing the 20% reduction on the calculator is usually not advised. I'd change it to the 10% number, if it was me. And average the two different formulas. So that would mean about 1700-1800 each day.
