Does anyone have any brilliant ideas about alternatives/adjustments for working with a heavier weight on this? 25kg is barely even effortful for me! Any ideas gratefully received :flowerforyou:

Bent-over row with a barbell, go as heavy as you like! Or one arm with a dumbbell. But if you've a delicate back and need to be seated, the lat pull-down machine works similar muscles, as does the assisted pull-up.

If there's a cable machine in your gym, you can set it to bench height, attach a bar grip, drag a bench over and exactly replicate a seated row with as much weight as you can handle.

Thanks Berry. I do have a slightly-iffy back, but bent-over row should be ok, with a bit of care. Don't know why I didn't think of that!
