Chop Magic ?

I drool over the infomercial for the Chop Magic - chops a whole onion in 3 seconds !!!

Does anybody have one ? Love it / Hate it ?? Is there a better alternative out there ?

    Some people have a drawer full of gadgets they've only used once or twice. A sharp chef's knife has multiple purposes.

    Had the slap chop and it was seriously dumb and annoying. But maybe I'm just a moron...

    In the end, I always find it faster to just chop things with a knife, or with my teeth, then to use some fancy tool that always has 500 crevices and grooves that food gets stuck in and takes me an hour to clean.

    Side note: eggies are also stupid.

    ETA: You can't slap-chop zombies either...
