Any females that are weight training?? Fat loss help!

Hi! So, I'm 18 and currently down 44lbs as of this morning (whoo!)
Although I'm losing weight, I don't see any difference in my body composition...or atleast no noticeable difference.
I do 30-60 minutes of cardio 5-7 days a week but I read that strength training actually increases fat loss?
WHAT can I do to increase my fat loss? I'm eating up to 1500 calories a day. I don't want to lose muscle but I do want to lose this jiggly fat! What do you females do in regards to weight training? What about you men?
