So... I'm having a Valentine's Party tomorrow for all the single people, and I can't for the life of me think of what to cook? Any suggestions? I'm wanting to keep the grocery bill under $50 if possible.

Suggestions for games/movies? etc?

What are the rest of my single MFP friends doing for Valentine's Day? Why should the people in relationships be the only ones to have any fun on V-day?

Tell them to bring their own booze. Are you wanting a meal or just appetizers?

As far as games - Cards Against Humanity is the only answer. Well, that or naked Twister.

My kids and I are making homemade pizza & salad for dinner, and watching The Princess Bride, which is less smooshy than average. "Life is pain! Anyone who says differently is selling something."
    Love that movie.

Married and still not celebrating the holiday...Seriously think its a silly holiday. I tell my hubby everyday what he means to me.

It would be fun to have a chocolate theme. You could have fruit out with a chocolate dip. Main dishes with cocoa as part of the sauce. I don't know how much time you have but a loaf with chocolate in it. Chocolate covered bananas are always fun too.

Oh and don't forget chocolate drinks.

    cheers!!!:drinker:

Working out, then staying home to watch Netflix. I've always been a fan of pizza, so why not have pizza at your party?

Yep I am off to a valentines themed Metafit class, girls vs guys if any guys turn up, then just chillin. For you party just do we nibbles, keep it casual, raw vegetables and dips, chicken strips etc. As for games I have one that always starts conversations and its basically just 50 things to do before you die, like a bucket list but you could make one up and make it as risqué as you like (depending on your company of course), we have certainly had some 'interesting discussions' when I have used it! Enjoy and have fun
