As long as you eat at a caloric deficit, get enough protein and do some heavy weight lifting you'll be fine.

True, but looking at why you do or don't like something helps to find what you do like and will stick with.

Yes that is ideal, however a good looking stomach is easiest achieved this way imo. Your other option is to keep going in a deficit and doing cardio and see if you get there. Being a women it is likely you will need to take your body fat quite low for a flat stomach, which might be hard to get that low if you don't have much muscle mass.

Find something you enjoy doing and do it! Otherwise it's harder to keep things going.

You're right. However, you should consider that most of the enjoyment from lifting weights comes with results, which will take a fair bit longer than 3 weeks. You don't generally enjoy the actual lifting. You enjoy being stronger, feeling more confident, powerful, etc. I would recommend giving it some more time.

But, if it's really not for you, then I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

What age are you? Height? Current weight? Goal weight? Body fat % if known, bearing in mind it's difficult to measure? How long have you been trying? How quickly do you expect results?

Wait! You ask this every few weeks. You will keep getting the same answers. It takes time.

Ok so your height- weight seems pretty good, but your waist measurement seems high within that. First question is always- how reliable is my measuring device?

How are you measuring your waist size?

i tape measure around my belly/waist. its the biggest part of my body. everything else is nice and firm. here is a pic:

Your waist is the smallest part of your abdomen, usually a few inches above your belly button.
