Hey! I saw another lady do this on here and I thought I would ask too. I've done the measurement calculation and was thinking about doing to bod pod but I've heard that all forms of measurement can be inaccurate so I wanted to get some opinions. What %BF do you think I am? 5'6 130 lbs.

Well, here's an example of why BMI can be totally useless....I am the same height as you, weigh a bit less, but my BF% is around 26%. Jealous! You look awesome.0

You will find some varied estimates on the regular forums so its hard to know who to believe but Sara and Sidesteel in this thread are really pretty good at estimating.
ETA - oh yeah, read the directions for posting :happy:0 -

Aw thanks. I had an original goal of 120 but I just don't think it's do-able for me.0 -

I personally would NOT try to lose an additional 10lbs if I were you. In fact….I was you (in theory). September of 2013 I was 5'5" and 125 lbs at about 19% body fat (which is what I would guess you at just based at how I looked) and I decided it was time to bulk. 5 months and 10 lbs heavier…I could not be happier!0 -
Fanstastic%
No but seriously, lean'ish for a woman. Wouldn't be surprised if it's around twenty or so like most of the others guessed.0 -
who cares! your beautiful!!!0

You look fabulous, I think that weight looks great on you, fit and healthy. There is no way you are more then 20% body fat, you are very lean and are probably even lower then that but you don't want to lose your curves mama! Keep up the good work.0

I am going to have to say around 20% as well0

Yeah my body composition looks similar to yours (although I'm 5'4" 104 pounds), and I've guestimated my body fat at 19-20%. I would also advise on not trying to lose more weight, since you might lose the great muscles you're building. For me, I've found that as I've lost more weight, my muscles just disappear, but my problem fat areas remain. So I think it's good to build up a decent amount of muscle before trying to get really lean.0 -
I would guess low 20's. Although you don't look jiggly, you don't look like you have a lot of muscle so that raises the number. In my avatar I am apx 20-21%.0
-
I would guess about 19-20 percent. Not a lot of fat on you.0
-
I would say 20-21% as well (we're almost the same, and I know mine). If you can find a body pod, go for it (peace of mind), but I imagine it's only relevant for you if you're planning to do NPC.
Kudos!0 -
My guess is also about 20%0
