Health Gains but no visible weight loss

I've gone from a mostly sedentary lifestyle doing almost no exercise to minimum 3x 1hour challenging gym sessions with a PT per week as well as some cycling. I've gained in cardiovascular fitness and strength, BUT I've lost neither weight not inches. Getting a bit disheartened...I've been at it about 5 months now!

    My heart always goes out to people like you because I am just like this. I totally understand how frustrating life can be when your weightloss is slow. I have been logging for over 400 days and have lost only 28 pounds. I have friends who have lost 80 pounds in much less time. While I am happy for them, I began to struggle with continuing my journey.Some things that have helped me are this:
    1) each person is different and I need to just keep working at it.
    2) my life is much healthier now and I have more energy
    3) this is a LIFETIME event and I must remember that even baby steps get me closer to my goal
    4) loving myself again is very important
    5) my progress so far may be slow, but it is progress!!

    Get out there and move and begin feeling better about yourself! You can do it!!
