Just postin my own howdy here in the intro board.
I'm a 31 yr old geeky wife and mother from Texas. I'm a gamer and sci-fi/fantasy girl, enjoying everything from Firefly/Serenity and Tolkien to Doctor Who and Sherlock. I probably wouldn't be able to list everything here due to post legnth restrictions.
I've struggled with weight my entire life, doing the yoyo dieting thing, losing some but gaining it back and then some.
I'm so tired of feeling like a stranger in my body and am determined "this time" to succeed in becoming the true, healthy version of me.
I have lost 20 lbs as of this post starting last September when I started Nutrisystem. I have about 90 more to go! I've mostly been using LoseIt to log things, and wanted to try MyFitnessPal to see if I like it better. I like that I can link MFP to my FitBit without having to have a premium account, unlike at LoseIt. I also use my own personal website/blog (kaziahodges.com) to try to stay accountable.
Looking for friends in the MFP community, either those who need to lose 100+ like me or just anyone.
