I'm not eating enough

Okay, so I've always been very careful about my diet, but since that wasn't actually making me lose weight, I've started exercising and really logging my calories. Unfortunately, now that I'm logging my calories, I'm realizing that I'm WAY under my required calories for the day. I know I'm not always the best at eating the right things, but I'm pretty low. Today was the first day that really scared me though.
I ate 1096 calories (including the most awful kind of chocolate birthday cake you can imagine) and exercised 432 (yay Insanity!) of it away for a net caloric intake of 664. That's way too low!
Yesterday, I had 831 net calories.
It keeps going like this. For the week that I've logged, half of the days have been under 1000 and one was 1012. Is this something that will go away as I get used to obsessing about calories, or do I need to start purposely eating a little more? I stop when I'm full.
My diet diary is open to the public if you want to (non-judgmentally) take a look.

Im in the same situation . Trying to add in more calories little by little each day . Im not ab,e to just go from 900 to 1200 so i add 100 or so a day ..
Keep trying different combinations of food , something will work .0 -
I suggest that you try planning out your meals ahead of time.
Enter what you think you might be eating for the day and if the cals look too low, then add a little something extra to each meal - add yoghurt to breakfast, add a boiled egg to lunch, add cheese or avocado or nuts to dinner, have some crackers with peanut butter for a snack.
Thats an easy extra 400 or 500 cals without making you feel like you are over eating.
And if things change during the day (ie chocolate cake for a snack) then drop out something later in the day if you have gone over your calorie goal.0
