Looking for more support

I have been trying to lose weight for a while now. First on weight watchers did good but never hit the 50lb mark got burned out then the weight started to come back. I stopped it before it got to far and now I want to get to the 45 pounds lost again only six pound away. Then I want to get to that stinking 50 pounds gone. Then after that I really would like to lose 50 more to be under 200 lbs. Sometimes the goal seems so far away. So I'm looking for any support you can give me and open to any suggestion to those who have already lost 60lbs.

I spent 12 years trying to lose weight with WW I would get to the 40 pound mark and then slowly put it back on. The one part of the equation I never put a lot of effort into was the exercise part. I decided to give exercise my full attention and diet some time in the future. I was amazed how exercise made me want to make better food choices. dieting never made me want to exercise. I've kept 83 pounds off for 2 years. I'll never give up exercise no matter how much I want to quit. My body needs it.

This is how I see it - Diets and programs help you with a kick start but few people are ale to maintain a system. You need to become the person you want to be through lifestyle choice.

When you are ready you will find the how - start with mini targets don't try to tackle everything at once. If you can get some more modest short term wins this snowball as you gain confidence and you can make some stretch targets. Weight loss can work with "slow and steady" or more rapid loss but from memory you do not want to aim to lose more than 4lbs a week (on average) 2 to 3 lbs per week is doing very well and prevents excess skin.

It is not uncommon to lose 7 or 8 lbs a week in the first couple of weeks depending on what strategies you implement but after this you should find your system ramping back to more realistic rates.
