hey, I am a little confused here about how many calories to eat to lose 2 pounds every week for me. I am 18 years old, and i exericise almost everyday for 90 miuntes at least. I been recoverying from a surgery, so my calorie intake for the past few month have been really really low ( at most 700) . Now I feel all better, I really want to lose these stuborn fat around my stomach, thigh and arm. but if i increase my calories intake to 1200 like it recommended would I gain weight and fat in exchange because I have been eating so less calories. I really have problem eating more than 1000 calories without feeling sick. so Should I increase my calorie intake?

You have probably messed up your metabolism by eating such low calories. Yes you should definitely eat more calories, maybe even eat your maintenance calories for a while. Read this and hopefully it will help http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/3047-<span class=
It may not be the best news but you can get back on track. You need to eat to lose weight, your body needs the calories to help it run properly. You have been doubly depriving yourself because of your workout regimine. Good Luck to you, this site helps a lot. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here. Utilize the site and all it has to offer. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we are all here for you Good Luck again -Heather

Because you are recovering from a surgery, please, please, please talk to a doctor or dietician who knows your medical history Before you make drastic changes to your diet/cal intake.
