Chest dumbbell exercise routines - any ideas?

I have dumbbells at home, no bench. My usual routine is after jogging to do some basic biceps-triceps-shoulders exercises using dumbbells plus push-ups and abdominals. What I cannot figure out how to fit in there is some anything for chest and back without a bench. I am not interested in building muscle volume, just becoming a bit fitter in general. Any ideas about what I can do at home? I am doing TRX classes twice a week, but I do not feel it is enough for these particular areas.
To add: I am female, average weight and height, focusing on losing a little body fat right now, not necessarily weight.

You can always do a push up routine which would require no equipment. If you want to use dumbbells, you can do DB push press from the floor, and also flyes from the floor, ect..... Check out scooby's workshop, he's an advocate it doing it from the floor.

Thank you, this site is very interesting. I guess when you see for 20 years some exercises at the gym on a bench, it never even crosses your mind you can just skip the bench completely0

Exactly! For some, the bench is like the holy grail and should never be messed with. And of course, everyone does bench, especially men. And most don't do them correctly, which is also why, it causes the most injuries.0 -
you dont need a bench, you can use an exercise ball or a chair. just put your upper back and support your lower body weight with bent knees. then you can do dumbbell press, straight arm pullovers0

I use the floor rather than a bench and its something you get used to quite quickly. In fact I was at a hotel with a comparatively good weights room the other week and trying to do presses from the bench felt unnatural so I had to go a lay on the floor0
