I am on a journey to lose 10lbs that seems to follow me wherever i go...Ok, so I like to eat sweets and i like my red wine....I am determined.
I am a marathon runner and have just started doing the Insanity workout. I think my biggest issue is food...i either eat the wrong foods or I dont eat enough food.
Joined this site to look for motivation through others and to hopefully help to motivate others!!

I think it is incredibly hard to lose "the last 10 pounds" because, in some cases, our bodies are trying really hard to hold on to them. Maybe if you could really stick to the 1400 cals and ratios of carbs/protein/fat appropriate, MAYBE you could lose them but then, again, maybe not! and who wants to live without chocolate and red wine? not me!
sorry, I am close to goal weight but I realize the last two pounds were boob-my belly looks the same. Boo...0 -
Good luck! I'm here for whatever support that you may need!0

I feel bad, my last post was not very "motivational" and I think this site is incredibly helpful. There were some really great threads that might be helpful. One was called "relatively lean women trying to get leaner" and the other one was "not much to lose" or something like that.
I am not familiar with the Insanity workouts but I have heard interval training can be helpful to runners, like you:)0 -
Welcome aboard!! Feel free to add me if you want some support. I have 4 pounds to go! This site is great!0

hey everyone, thanks so much for your kind words and support. I have always been relatively slim except after i had my son nearly 13 years ago...I went from 135 to 203lbs...I know what its lke to lose weight and to be determined and knocked down all at the same time. I know 10lbs isnt a ton of weight but i love red wine and yummy foods...its really fricken hard!!!0
