what changed when you started to run?

I got fatter. I began running years before joining MFP and calorie counting. I used running as an excuse to eat. I am Exhibit 1A of the fact that you can't outrun a bad diet.

Having vouchers for free KFC, I ran about 2 calories off the meal I had a voucher for last night on a club run.
Unfortunately, I was already 150 over. So after I'd finished the shorter social run, I went and did two more miles on my own, burning 350 calories (we have hills here), which nicely balanced out that 150 AND gave me two servings of protein powder to make up my macros.
