Over the course of 9 months, I have lost 50+ pounds, mostly through working out and eating smart; however, within the past 4 months I have utilized MFP(longest go-around on MFP app). These last 4 months on MFP have provided direction, accountability, and imparted a knowledge that just blindly losing weight doesn't. Plus I have a log for the future, in case i fall off the wagon and need a map to get that body back!
My two-fold issue is that during this go-around where I have been on it and am a point where I have met 90% of my goals- the question is what next?
Because I know that within 6 weeks I "should" hit my ultimate goal by staying the course- I have not been as regimented since I feel so close. I have made allowances and am slacking ever so slightly. Essentially, I take small liberties and have not recorded them. My guess is that these un-recorded "liberties" amount to 100-200 extra calories, but tend to be low in fat ( no dairy or baked products).
So, what targets, goals or items (more on the mental satisfaction side of things) do you focus on to essentially drive onward with a renewed focus? My fear is becoming bored, or so proud of myself that I slide back.
