I have read a few things that mention water retention with cardio. How is that so? What about lifting?
When I started exercising my body sucked all the water out of the atmosphere and held on for over a week. Now, this week I feel it is doing it again, is it extra cardio? I do cardio 6x a week and lift 3x a week.
Mon 30 mins cardio
Tues 20 mins cardio, lift
Wed 45 mins cardio
Thurs 20 mins cardio, lift
Fri 30 mins cardio
Sat 45 mins cardio, lift.

Anytime you start a new exercise or add more exercise, yes, you will retain water for muscle repair. Give it time, it'll go away.0
