Low sodium before weigh in?

Wondering if eating low sodium the day before a weigh in makes it more accurate? Any thoughts on this? I weigh in on sundays usually, but thinking of changing to mondays since saturday meals (especially dinner) are usually high sodium..

I don't know about "accurate" - I mean, you weigh what you weigh, water-weight included - but if you're after the lowest number on the scale then yeah, you might want to have it be a day or two after the highest sodium meals of the week.

Thanks! I never thought about it like that.. I suppose I eat really healthy throughout the week, so I wasnt sure If that was doing any thing to weigh in after a high salt meal.. :-)
  • didn't specify what time on sunday. And unless you're eating a very significant amount and drinking plenty of water WITHOUT expelling it it won't affect you that much. It'll be like the usual difference that you'd get from an overnight fluctuation
