I was suppose to start my Insanity program the beginning of August but due to personal Issues I was unable to. Well I finally got to start it yesterday and I am so sore. Does it get better and if so how long will it take? I could really use some support and motivation right now. And if anyone else is on beach body with the Insanity program then please add me on that with you. or give me your name on that site and I will add you. Thanks everyone.

Hey there!!! Today will be day 2 for me (I am just about to start my workout as soon as I finish writing this). Day 1 left me super sore and that was just the fit test! I consider myself to be fairly in shape but wow the day after is killer and I have a feeling the first couple weeks are going to be the worst. I will be the nagging friend for you if you want someone to bug you to stick with it every day. Maybe if we see each other's posts on the news feed about having completed the workout for the day it will help us. I also think it would be a good idea to already pencil it in to whatever calendar you use. Remember, now is the worst it's ever going to be, the more we stick through it, the easier it will become. My biggest issue is that I need to use a lot of strength and energy for work and I know this is going to kill me, but I'm going to do it anyway!!! My body will thank me in the end. Best of luck to you, we can do this!0

I'm sorry that I haven't been on in a while. But yes, I am doing my Insanity and I can see where they get the name from. I will be sure to post everyday from now on except for Sundays. Sunday is my rest day for everything. No house work, no work, no running, no school. Just take care of the kids and go to church thats it. Yes, I too am very sore. I began my Insanity last monday and that evening I also began a running 101 class. I am very OUT OF SHAPE. I have never been a runner and would really like to be able to just run a mile with out feeling like I am dying after only two minutes. I want to be able to finish a mile in less than 7 minutes. The fastest mile ever ran is 3 minutes and 43 seconds. The average time for running a mile (Not counting professional runners is 6 minutes and 13 seconds. So I figure if I can do a mile in 7 minutes or less I am doing pretty darn good. That is my goal. I just really wish I could QUIT SMOKING. That is what is really killing me. But I am afraid that if I quit smoking I will eat more and just keep getting fatter. I hate to use an excuse but it is the truth as well. I am still super sore and my running classes are mondays and wednesdays. I also am supposed to do it on my own on Fridays or saturdays but I did not this week because I was in the ER with a horrible ear infection that has been killing me like for ever. If you want you can look me up on Face Book. My name on there is Jessica Sizemore Benson. You can also text my cell if you want and we can chat that way also. my cell # is 660-342-5053. I do sales work from my home and I am on the phone non stop from 7 am to 6pm so I can't actually talk on the phone a lot unless it is an emergency but I will be able to text back. Just with your first text remind me who you are and where I know you from please.
Thanks,

Hi there Jessica,
You may find it helpful to drink a protein shake before or just after completing your workout. The protein will help the sore muscles to repair quicker and you will feel a lot better for it.
When I first started training, I could barely even sit down without crying I was so sore, but after starting protein shakes my muscles soon recovered xxx0 -
I do have the p90x protien shake. I don't much like the taste, but if it will really help, then I will take it. Thanks.Hi there Jessica,

Hi ladies, this is my first day on this site and I would love to have someone to keep me honest. I did weight watchers and lost 30 and have gained about 13 back so am working on losing that. want to lose 25 total or just look like I have lost that much! I started at the gym because ww wasnt working anymore. so I love this site and am hoping I can post daily. glad I found you all. I started back at the gym three wks ago and am finally able to make it thru an entire class without limping out of bed the next day. it does get better quickly if you just keep it up and already am seeing some of my muscle tone in my arms coming back!now to just fit into my jeans before winter!0
