I HAVEN'T LOST ANY WEIGHT SINCE AGES

Hello MFPs,
I am feeling quite distressed at the moment and could do with some advice/opinions about ways of motivating myself to lose the weight! I'm not overweight, but I'm full of fat, and I really need to lose weight! I've never actually worn a bikini, not now and not two years ago when I was anorexic either. OMG. Seriously I'd rather be anorexic, then I can do weight training and gain weight instead of having to eat so little.

ARRGHH This is taking an emotional toll on me!!

I'M SO SCARED that I will never be able to lose the weight! In October I'm going to the UK and Asia for a holiday with my three older brothers (parents are on a 1 yr world travel) and they eat a lot. It is going to be so HARD FOR ME. They will treat me to food and it will be so hard to resist. I'M SO SCARED ABOUT HONG KONG. everyone there is SO SKINNY. They JUDGE you, like LEGIT, they really do especially if you're Chinese and you're not skinny.

I'm MOST SCARED ABOUT I'm meeting my cousin who is a HK actor and he is taking me out with his colleagues and friends, and most of them are popular actors/actresses, and obviously they are good looking and fit for guys, skinny for girls. it is going to be so embarrassing. LIKE SERIOUSLY. Every time I think about meeting these hot actors *blush* I get the motivation to lose weight lol I know this is GAY but it is true. But since it is such a long time away and I have UNI to worry about I STRESS EAT SO BADLY. LIKE SO BADLY if I took photos of the food I'd probably die of shock.

What should I do? I can't keep on doing this forever! Help me please! This means SO MUCH TO ME

Maybe opening your diary would be something to start with, so others can have a look at it and give you proper advice?

Your BMI is 19.7 which is just below the middle point of the healthy range.

You are healthy right now. I think the best think for you would to concentrate on strength training, which will help make you look skinnier, since that seems to be what you so desperately want.

And if you have had an eating disorder in the past I would be very careful becoming too obsessed about losing weight or restricting your diet as you may re-trigger the eating disorder.
