Has anyone been hypnotised to help with their weight loss?

Just wondering on what people's thoughts are on being hypnotised to help lose weight? If anyone has did it work for you? I tend to be an emotional eater and am looking to try and change my thoughts and bad habits but not sure how to.

i'm not sure but i don't think being hypnotised will help...
try finding a therapist who can help you with emotional eating, that would be a far more reliable and effective way to change your habits. they will help you work through whatever the emotional issue is that is causing you to emotionally eat.

Years ago, I downloaded a self-hypnosis for weight loss thing for my iPod. It was wonderful for helping me fall asleep!

I'm not sure if it did anything for me, though I was significantly thinner at the time.

I also tried a weight-loss hypnosis app quite a while ago, as the post above said, it works wonders for helping you fall asleep and feel relaxed but beyond that I saw no change. In my opinion I don't think there would be much difference between that of the hypnosis app and an actual hypnotherapist.
