Looking at your diary... if you're logging honestly, you're undereating like it's going out of style anyway. Maybe take that as a hint.
your daily goal is 750 calories?
You don't need advice on a web forum, you need to go talk to someone about your relationship with food and the obvious problems with it.0 -
Keep licking your lips?
I bought Nutella once and that was kind of the end of our relationship

Daily goal set at 750 kcals ... WTF ? No wonder you can't stick with such a deficit ...........0

This too. If this eating pattern is pretty typical of you, then you might be stuck in a vicious restrict/binge cycle and it would be worth looking into what your actual caloric needs are and adjusting your goal appropriately and more evenly/consistently.
And, speak to someone about your eating habits. There's a few red flags just by looking at your diary, if you're logging accurately.0 -
Whoa..Alright there? 400g nutella..Thats sure will give sugar rush to body, and yeah..yucky and sick..too much sweetness
Get 1-2mug of hot green/black tea (no sugar please)..sip slowly,it will relax the body system0 -
I'm not sure WHAT is going on with her diary...some days are showing goals of 1200, 1400, 1800, 500...I've never seen one do that.
:huh:0 -
FYI...it looks like the OP adjusted her calories up a long time ago. It's not anywhere near that 750 now...
The only days where the goal is higher than that is when she logs exercise.
which means that she set that as a custom goal herself. It's a VLCD, not healthy, and obviously not working.. since OP freaks out when they binge.
OP has issues with food and needs help beyond what we can offer her here.0 -

It's because of exercise calories logged. Still regularly netting under 1200 calories, often times under 1000 calories, that's not a good sign.0 -

i laugh a lot when i see you post. because you're encouraging, and then i read your name and I wonder if that is what you really want to say.0 -

Are we looking at the same diary?
I see a 750 calorie goal for tuesday the 11th.
OP, I would suggest seeing a professional and reevaluating your goals and the means you're taking to reach them. It's highly likely that you ate 2000 calories of Nutella bc you've been restricting and your body is HUNGRY.0 -

Haha, I try to keep the tough love for my own issues and be more encouraging and helpful for other people's issues.
Plus, I've been in the OP's shoes before. It's not pretty and it can really get out of hand quickly.0 -
I suggest throwing out the nutella jar. This is really tough. Ice cream is the culprit of many... we say "I'm just going to measure out a half cup as a reward for a good day". Then we eat about 2 cups. The trick, just don't go there, distract the mind with something else, and if you do fail.... pick up from that point. Everyone fails, it's ok.

When you eat so little it can lead to binging. Your body has powerful survival instincts.0

you have my ut most respect.. lol.. awesome.. tommorow is a new day..
this is why i can not buy cheese whiz (gross right.. for most people.. but i love it)0 -
You go check in with your Doctor to get some help with your food issues.0

gosh, thanks everyone
you know when you can't see what's staring you in the face until someone else points it out?
(a lot calmer now but still fairly distraught I guess -- I tend to only log the ""unhealthy"" things and even then log erratically but even so, to have all my intake from nutella is slightly horrific!)
thanks so much. going to speak to my doctor, I think. I guess because I'm still not at an ideal weight I thought it would be alright? Wow, I'm an idiot!
thank you thank you !0 -
I'd be sh*tting my pants if I ate that much Nutella0
-
Mmmm...I can relate. I've downed an entire jar of coconut mana after some intense prolonged diet cuts. Strangely enough, you don't gain as much weight as you'd think after eating pure fat.
I use to binge on entire jars of peanut and almond butter as well as Nutella...not worth the GI upset, intense bloating, flattish, etc.! Sleep it off, follow with lots of water and cardio the next day(s)0 -

You're not an idiot. Probably. I mean I don't know you. But what I'm saying is, most of us have done some pretty unhealthy things at one time or another. :flowerforyou:0 -

No, not an idiot. Just gone about things in a slightly unhealthy way and got caught up in a bad cycle. Best to nip it in the bud now because getting stuck in a cycle of starve, binge, starve, binge is a really unpleasant way to live, speaking from experience. Good luck talking to your doctor, and maybe try and set a more realistic and healthy calorie goal for your weight loss, and make your focus giving your body the optimum nutrition it needs. As for the Nutella... bleh, I have gotten through 2 pints of ice cream on a fair few occasions. Not healthy, but the weight impact was very minimal if at all, especially while active. Let it go, forget it, I imagine most here have done similar at one time or another and life goes on.0
