Hello there! Looking for advice, support and ideas.

Hello Everyone : )
My name is Anne. I'm 22, a first time mom (FTM), widowed and am going to school for Creative Writing.
As my profile says, I've been overweight as long as I can remember. I've tried to lose weight before, I've been partially successful by losing 50lbs, but due to my Anemia (which I didn't know about) and my iron levels dropping (which I also didn't know about) I had to stop working out. Then I got pregnant. . ..then I ate....a lot.
I'm looking for advice and support as I try this again. I feel like a lot of the times maybe I'm doing something wrong, so I'm hoping this website will help me figure out why and how I can fix it.
As for my ideals of health and fitness:
Cardio is evil but nessecery
I'd rather be lifting - all the time.
I'm trying to Clean Eat, but I'm on SNAP so that's a little hard.
I'm also trying to take my animal protine down to about 5% a day, excluding protine shakes until I get that figured out.
