I'd like to hear stories, advice, opinions and whatever else there is to be said about the Tim Noakes diet..
My father always seems to come across these bizarre diet plans and eating methods that I think "for what? eat normally just eat under maintenance allowance"

As with all fad diets, if you don't intend to maintain it for the rest of your life then it's not going to be successful long term.
Your father' advice to eat normally, but under maintenance is good advice for weight loss.0 -
It's just another version of the paleo diet?0

Looking it up I would say it is another version of paleo - probably more atoned to the primal blue print (more varied than strict paleo)
I personally would recommend these style of diets over calorie counting, especially if eating a medium to high carb intake.
Having to constantly control carb cravings on a calorie counting diet (which a lot of people struggle with) is not a great way to sustain a diet, where as with paleo types of diet you will be burning less glucose as an energy source and more body fat and any carb cravings will be greatly reduced.
Good luck with whatever path you go down.
The key to success is choosing what's right for you and fits your goals and lifestyle. Do plenty of research yourself before running with something.????0 -

Rather than just debunk the suggestion you do not burn more body fat on a primal diet, please explain what happens then.0

never heard of it. I believe the only that actually works is the Paleo diet or the caveman diet in short.0

Most of them work, some are just stricter than others.
Although do your research thoroughly before embarking on any diet.0 -
