This week has been a great week for NSVs for me! I did not one, but three real chin ups 2 days ago. When I first started working out 3 months ago, I could barely handle just hanging on the bar. My goal was to do one real chin up/pull up and I did not think it would happen by the end of my first round of p90x, but it did!

I also got my mile under 12 minutes. Pretty slow still, but considering a year ago I couldn't even run more than 2/10 of a mile if I was lucky, I consider this a step in the right direction.

My used to be too tight boots: I can now slide my cell phone down into them while wearing them. Yeah, there's that much room in there now. LOL:laugh:

I can finally so a barbell squat with good form and depth. I have been doing then for a while but depth was rubbish but today I got below parallel on most of them, now to increase weight.

I ran for 5 minutes straight yesterday. Considering I haven't run since high school (which was 13 years ago) I definitely consider that a victory!

An NSV for me last night: I was at the gym last night and had finished my deadlifts. I was putting the plates and bar away when a man a little older than me said, "I hope you don't take this as creepy, but I've noticed you here almost every day for the last few months, and I just wanted to tell you that you've made some great progress. Keep it up!" He went away to go onto his next exercise with a wink. Later as I passed him, heading for the locker room, I overheard him whisper to his workout buddy, "Her *kitten* just gets better and better..." OMG!
    LOL! Awesome!

I have had several NSV's this week, which I am excited about:

-A lady in my bellydance troupe who I haven't seen in about 6-7 weeks kepting raving about the "huge" amount of weight I have lost
-I have a show tomorrow night and had to take in about 4 inchess off my bellydance bra and another 4 inches off my belt
-My trainer pointed me out to all of her clients and family on FB how my dedication and hard work is paying off
-I took on the 12 lb weights in my small group water class- she said nobody has ever dared to take those on, and that is what she uses (and she is a competitive body builder)

    Yeah me!

Oh I bought my first road bike, yes I did. Big victory in finding the confidence that tells me I'll stick with it. Looking forward to some cycling adventures ahead :)

Two days ago I ran 5km for the first time. Three months ago I could barely run for one minute.

For my last weigh in I gained 3 lbs (not sure why, but whatever... ) before, that would just make me give up completely. But this time around, being on mfp just made me push myself into exercising more and sticking to this "diet". I'm just so happy about that!! :blushing:

Leg pressed 275 lbs at the gym on Tuesday. Running for 5 minutes straight at a time on the treadmill. I HATE running on the treadmill, I'd rather be outside, so sticking to it without giving up after like 2 minutes is huge hah.

Saw myself in the mirror, and although I still have some weight to lose and things to work on, I am really really proud of myself!

This morning had a 2 lb. loss after changing my settings to up my calorie intake ( they were too low at 1420). I'm officially half way to my goal now. Only 28 lbs. to a healthy BMI.
Also managed to fit in my favorite too small shirt I had saved.

Last week: My parents bumped into a friends dad who said he'd heard I lost a lot of weight! :-)

This week: Got a trial shift on weds for a job which requires me to wear black work trousers (the tailored kind). Last time I had to wear something like that I got 'treggings' (leggings that look like trousers) because I could only get something stretchy to fit. Went shopping for trousers today and prepared myself for disappointment, but I actually fit into some trousers at primark! Their sizes run a bit small and I fit into a 20 (UK. 16? in US sizes) which I think is the largest they do - but it felt so nice to be able to go into a cheap place and grab what I need without having to shop around for something specialist! And they were only a fiver! (US$8.30). I've always been jealous of how other people can just grab a cheap item and now I'm one of them!

I ran in a 5k run on Saturday - I probably only ran for about 3k, but I was going a bit faster than my more fit than me bf (who is wonderful and had a sore knee... but still) and I felt great!
