I made some avacado salad for dinner last night, covered up the leftovers and stuck them in the fridge. This morning i noticed the avacado had turned brown already, I was planning to eat it for dinner tonight- is it still good? How long does cut up avacado stay good?

It is still good to eat!!
Avacado, like apples, will turn brown once cut. It is still for short time though. Next time sprinkle some rice vinegar or lemon juice on it to prolong the color and flavor.0 -
It's still ok, avocado turns brown super fast. One way you could stop it doing so in the future is either with a squeeze of lemon juice, or put the stone in the bowl with the leftovers before you cover. No diea why, but it seems to stop the avocado going brown as fast!0

Two things I have found that works well is a) lime juice and b) wrap leftovers tightly with cling-wrap to help keep air out.0
