Bloated after exercise

Hi everyone!
I've hit a plateau in my diet (stuck at that darn 136!) so I've begun exercising. The only thing is ever since I've started, I've been feeling insanely bloated and (sorry for the dirty details) kind of gassy and constipated. I'm not eating anything out of the ordinary (everything I would normally eat: fruits, some dried fruits, and veggies), but I feel so heavy. Also, I ve noticed that my stomach wall has gotten quite hard and, compared to my pre-exercise days, it actually looks bigger. After a week of rather intense exercise (I don't usually exercise so anything is intense), my weight hasn't budged. I've been watching what I eat and working out, I didn't understand why it hasn't moved. When I stepped on the scale at the beginning of the week it read 136.0, when stepped on it at the end of the week and it still read 136.0 (I thought my scale was broken so I replaced that batteries, but nothing).
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or even if I'm doing something wrong. Could you help me out?

Thank you!

It's hard to tell: what sort of exercise are you doing?(Open your diary) Someone who's more informed might shed some light, but it sounds like a salt imbalance or some water retention. Also, since you've seen no change on the scale, and you're new to exercising, you are likely starting to gain some muscle, which will won't register as loss on a scale.
Keep after it, and give it some more time. The needle will move.
  • This happened to me as well! I'm curious to see the responses

Sounds to me like your dehydrated. Increase your water and your body will let go of the excess and you should also have a bm. That alone may reduce some pounds. Exercising will help increase bums especially any movements increase in the torso. It helps push the food along.
