Hi, I'm new to the whole myfitnesspal thing as I got roped in by this awesome app called Pact which gives you money for exercising/eating healthy/ logging food.
I'm a high school student who walks around from class to class on a spread out outdoor campus but sits for most of the day. However, I go to the gym everyday and do 20 minutes on the elliptical at a resistance of 7 to burn around 200 calories. I also lift weights everyday. 3 times a week a walk a mile and once a week I do zumba.
I'm trying to decided between which activity level I should be on, sedentary-moderately active. My fitness goal is to lose 15-20 pounds if that helps.

Thanks so much!

Assuming the strength training is somewhat rigorous, you're probably in a moderately active category. That being said, a lot of people using the MFP system put themselves down as sedentary, log their cardio activity, and eat back their calories. That's probably what I would recommend.

If you use mfp goals, you have to put your every day activity and log your exercise separately and it will give you extra calories to eat... So your activity would be the walking to class part (lightly active I guess), and the zumba and elliptical would be added.

Otherwise, use http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and just eat what it tells you at a 20% deficit (you'd be in between lightly active and moderately active probably).
