Who supports you? (the happy thread)

I am always identifying those who try to knock me back, complain how my eating affects them, say I am obsessed.

I want to shout about the people who keep me going, support me, encourage me and defend me.

My Mum will tell people how hard I have worked to do this sensibly and encourage me to weigh food/ make better choices

My Dad makes wonderful food and will warn me what is in it and not get stroppy if I only eat little bits

My best friend is super supportive and no longer suggests I finish off her food (yeah, I used to wonder why she was so much thinner than me)

My PT is amazing too

I support me. I want me to be happy and successful. I want me to be strong and healthy. I support me in doing this, as in I do my very best to avoid sabotaging my own efforts in life.

Primarily to the MFP Friend List I have....my brother, my husband, my best friend. Eating healthy around others can be a challenge, especially when asked what am I eating and I respond, squash. I offered raw squash, they said no. I love this thread:)

My best friend works out with me once a week and actually inspired me to join this site. She's lost almost 70 pounds so far. When we eat together, she either cooks something low-cal at home or we choose a restaurant ahead of time so we can look up calories.

My boyfriend joined this site a few days after I did, mainly to track his sodium intake though. He weighs his food when we eat together and has started drinking mostly water instead of pop (which is a big deal -- he used to go through a 24 pack within two weeks).

The two of them just bought me a heart rate monitor, so I can more accurately track my calories burned now! Yay!

    Happy thread. <3

My wife and two wonderful daughters.

    My friends on MFP.

    My IRL friends.

    Me.

I choose to avoid anyone who be so bold as to complain about how my eating affects them or call me obsessed. I cannot change other people but I can choose to avoid them.
