Hi I'm 5ft 3 CW 155.8 lb.
I am a student nurse so my daily activity can vary from being on my feet for the best part of a 12 hrs shifts 3 times a week to sat in lectures. I am currently on a 10 week placent working 37.5 hours a week.
I have set my activity to lightly active and 0.5 loss a week and it had set my allowance at 1680 cals. I had been set at 1400-1550 over past few weeks however with placement now and the shift pattern of a lot of nights I have found instead of exercising 3-4 times a week like I was it's now twice a week so that's why I looked at what calorie would be if I changed to 0.5 instead of 1 lb as I am less likely to go over on my non exercise days.
However I am scared that calorie intake will not make me lose each week.
So I am looking for the reasurrance that as long as I don't go over 1680 cals a day even with no exercise I should lose 0.5lbs a week?

If MFP set the calories it is set at a deficit so you should be okay if you don't exceed the daily goal.0
