New year New body challenge!!

Ok so there is less than 4 months left til 2011..Who wouldnt want to look and feel great on new years??? :smooched:

So I am gonna start a challenge that focuses on weightloss, excercise, and food and water intake..:drinker:

We will weigh in on thursdays, and be allowed one cheat day per week..I personally choose Saturday or Sunday as my cheat day.:bigsmile:

Together we can do this..

    Hey! I am currently 169 and want to be 130 by New Years.. So, it seems like we are similar. This post could be perfect for me. I always do my weigh ins on Sundays, but can switch to Thursday after this week. Let's do this! :D

    I have no clue how to do some of that fancy stuff the other groups do, so i am asking each of you to send your starting weight to my inbox, and each week when we weigh in send that to my inbox as well so I can post it in our thread..:bigsmile:

    I dont like really big groups either, so I am gonna cut this one off at 20 people :wink:

    I have already drank 4 servings of water today! yay me! Being i absolutely hate anything to do with water..lol

    This is just the post I needed to see today. I love smaller groups and I really have my head in the game after lunch today :blushing: . For lunch I decided on the Turkey wrap over the salad and PAYED FOR IT HUGE! I have not felt good at all since :sick: . So, i'm drinking TONS of water today to help flush my system and get it back on the right track!

    I switch it up as much as I can.. Right now I only have access to a gym once or twice a week (UGH!) but I do Jillian's 30 day shred sometimes, I do a TON of walking (because its peaceful and easy to do), stairs crunches and that kind of stuff. I also go Ice Skating once a week and play racquetball once a week. I get really bored and give up if I try and do the exact same thing every day.

    ahh! that's what I am trying to decide right now, I have to take my sister out to the movies tonight and its so daunting because dinner and a movie is always where I do my worst!! lol

    If I were at home, probably a veggie bean burrito, I looove them.

    Im at almost 30 lbs lost and fear I may be hitting the dreaded plateau, so am starting to stagger my calories as of this week and see if I can see some results again. Congrats everyone on the weight loss!

    yesterday i went 610 calories over my 1200 budget........I have to explain about the mcflurry, I know it's not a good excuse, but I had a 13 min break at job. Worked from 4:30 pm til 10:15 pm. NOT COMPLAINNG AT ALL...we were slammed...they had me in several places throughout the day...drive thru taking both orders and cash...then a few hours later switched me from drive thru to taking orders in the lobby....then after a lil bit switched me back over to drive thru...me personally i prefer drive thru over ANYTHING ELSE there....I'M LOVING IT....LOL...so after i got off work, one of my friends wanted a mcflurry....SOOOOO I decided you know that sounds like a great way to end my day...lol...so i got snack size Reese's flurry.

    Then, when I get home my buddy had BBQ and I just COULD NOT say no to that...lol....I didn't even bother counting...didn't bother measuring or ANYTHING...LOL...anyways i can just count this day as ONE of my cheat days....lol...AFTER ALL my cheat days is the weekend...lol

    EXERCISE:
    60 MINS WALKING
  • I think you should add a column for total group loss for each week too. =) This week we are down 7.9lbs as a group. Pretty fab-u-loss (to use a horrible pun tehehe) =)=)

    Do not ever feel like you have to explain yourself to us. Everyone slips up!! Never fear, also I honestly feel that forbidding yourself from these things completely can only lead to slip ups. If you WANT a snack size mcflurry then do it! But obviously ideally fit it into your allotted cals for the day! :D

    Last night, I worked until 11, got home at 11:30 STARVING because my dinner break was at 4 PM and we are literally putting a store together. Instead of having a healthy snack the way I should, I ate some leftover KFC (I dont even LIKE KFC in less than starving standards! hahahaha) and then ugh, the super horrible part, there was just a little leftover strawberry frosting from when I baked my sisters bday cupcakes... That got eaten too.

    But, that's just how life goes sometimes, and the only choice I had was to rise above it, accept that as a decision I made and try and make better ones today (also try to understand how I resisted easily the actual cupcakes and the frosting while baking like a million of them a week ago, but 2 spoonfuls of it was impossible to resist?? LOL)

    I just thought I would share my experiences, I didn't want you to think all of us were eating absolutely perfect and judging you, no one is judging you. Congratulations on admitting to us and yourself your over-calorie day, and hope today went well!

    thank you =) it takes forever to do that way, but I get lots of compliments on it so it's well worth it =)

    don't beat yourself up over a gain, there could be a number of reasons. Hang in there I know you can do this. :D:D
