Just bought a new (to me) elliptical trainer. I have it all set up and have nearly died every time that I use it. But I am looking for some good songs to keep me upbeat and keep my mind of the pain. Suggestions please :) Also feel free to add me as a friend and send me your fave song that way.

Exercise music is so subjective. A lot of people like upbeat dance/hiphop stuff, but your favorite upbeat songs are a good place to start. Take your music device and start selecting songs you know are fast and/or loud.

I also like to make playlists for different moods. If I want to let off steam while exercising I'll listen to an "angry" playlist, then maybe move on to an inspirational/ego type playlist with plenty of songs about how hot my body is :p

What pumps you up? For running, I like hip hop and super upbeat poppy stuff, think Pitbull, Lil Jon, Ke$ha. For some reason Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson gets me going, too. For lifting, I tend to like harder rap and metal/hard rock.
