That "just one bite" feeling...

It's not the same as throwing your hands up and quitting. it's a little different, just a momentary weakness for the old bad habits.
You tell yourself you just want one little bite of a chocolate bar, but you know you're going to eat the whole thing and you know you're going to be filled with regret and grief after it. but is knowing about the regret enough to stop you?
Normally, when im feeling munching but i know im not really hungry i have some green tea, and all is good.
but today is the first time i had a specific craving since i started turning my life around. Lucky for me, i had no way to get to it. but what if one day i do?
How do you guys combat specific cravings and avoid binge eating?

I usually have it within a few days.
But eating those foods you are craving isn't a bad thing.
I never crave green tea. Ever.
Just find some balance. You obviously can't give in every time, but you can plan and have that food that you are thinking about. It is all about balance.
Well - that and eating enough in general so that you aren't legitimately hungry all the time. That's really important.0 -
Haha i love green tea, but i know not everyone does. I don't leave myself hungry, it's just a sweet tooth craving. and im afraid if i give in a little, i'll end up giving in a lot... I guess i just have to step up and control it better. When i first started, i allowed myself a small piece of chocolate everyday, and it helped a lot. I'll try to start that again.0

When I cut something out completely I just want it more. This time around I have taken more of a IIFYM approach where nothing is off limits if it fits into my macros and binging isn't nearly as much of a problem. I also know I can't have just a bite of something so I make sure I have some one to share it with, my husband and kids are a good way to make sure I only have a serving of something.0

At this point, i no longer want things like fast food. There have been a lot of things i havent had an issue cutting out. i don't have anyone i can share things with
But i think going with individually wrapped small candies will help me know when to stop.
