PCOS, what is your typical food intake like per day?

Options
I've only just started taking dieting seriously and it's not going very well.

I love having rice and pasta with my meals and I know that that is bad because of the
carb content, so how do you deal without having grains everyday.

What does your daily meals look like?
Any help would be grand!

Carbs are not bad or The Enemy. :) You can have grains, just trade up from simple/refined carbs like rice and pasta to complex carbs like quinoa, amaranth, spelt and bulgar. They are all cooked just like rice and have a much greater nutritional value. Just a little (approximately 1/4 cup dry, 1/2 cup cooked) goes a long way. :)

I eat gluten free. My period came back when I went gluten free. I went from getting my period maybe once a year to every six weeks.

I still eat carbs, but also make sure to get lots of protein.
