so today i made pulled pork for sandwiches in the crockpot. I use alot of ingredients in the liquid or stock and make enough of it to cover a roast. so anyways my question is since you use very little of the liquid once the meat is done and pulled do you count the calories in the whole thing. I did count the calories for every ingredient i put in but then at the end theres like 10 cups of broth left not to be used so it doesn't seem right to count that in what i'm actually eating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance

I would still count it or even count 1/4 - 1/8 of the broth serving. Broth is high in sodium it might still be there but the meat absorbed a lot of it. Calories are not a problem here but the sodium should be counted.0

I agree -- I just count it as a very small portion0
