BOSTON, N.Y. - A Boston woman is charged with driving while intoxicated after State Police say she hit her boyfriend with her car during an argument Monday night.

Troopers say Lisa M. Snyder, 51, of Boston, and her boyfriend got into a fight after he ate her sub sandwich at a local restaurant. The boyfriend tried talking to her as she pulled away in her car. He told Troopers he slipped, and the car ran over his leg. Snyder gave a similar story.

Snyder showed signs of intoxication while the Trooper was interviewing her. She failed sobriety tests and was arrested for D.W.I. Snyder's blood alcohol content was .14.

Snyder was given traffic tickets. She is due in Town of Boston court on a later date.

    This is Boston, NY. It's near Buffalo.

    That is my favorite of all the Bostons, for sure. :-)

    Most people wouldn't be aware of Boston, NY, if they never lived near it or drove through it or something. It's a small town and overshadowed by it's better-known sister.
