Diet plan, help me fellow fitnesspals!!

Hey, I did so well for two weeks lost around 4lbs
But recently i've been binge eating and I really want someone to help me by suggesting their diet plan. We all need to support each other and I really wanna get a stone off in around 2-4 months... It's a long slow process.
I can't eat eggs cause we don't agree
& I currently start the day with oatmeal topped w/fruit e.g blueberries and I eat a lot of soup/wholmeal bread and salmon, chicken and turkey.
Any tips to stop binge eating, bad snacking and just what to eat in general...

I guess it depends on why you binge. I think some people do so, especially when dieting because they think they have to cut everything out to lose weight. Weight loss and maintaining there after is a lengthy process. Learning how to portion and finding things you enjoy, both exercise and food intake - wise will help to keep you in control and not feel deprived. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. I know some people find eliminating their trigger for binges at first can help, then slowly add them and portion them into your day0 -

A lot of the time people binge-eat for emotional reasons, or even just because they're bored. The first step towards stopping binge eating is solving those two problems, which probably aren't things that any of us are able to give you real advice on.
If you don't think that's your reason for binge eating (and you might want to talk to someone about it, because you never know, it can get down to some pretty deep stuff) and you're just doing it because you like food, then it comes down to a matter of self control. How badly do you want to lose weight vs.how badly do you want to eat that box of oreos.
I mean sure, there's always "eat a protein cookie instead of a real cookie" or "mush up some banana to keep from eating ice cream," but that's pretty much a load of bs /: I had my binging under control for two years before putting all my weight on in the last year again, and it's a scary place to be. I'm slowly getting on top of it again, and I feel more in control of my life in general now. If it's a self control issue, try slapping some inspirational pictures on the fridge. I put a VS Angel on mine, and it's pretty freaking hard to go for some ice cream (if I'm already at my calorie limit, that is) when I'm staring at a perfect body.0 -

Getting rid of quick fix, unhealthy foods is a good way to help, it's kind of a tricky way to go about it but a lot of times if you're in a snacky mood, quick options are what you go with, if those aren't available to us and only food that has to be prepared is, we don't have much of a choice but to pass on the snacking.
Keep the goal in mind.. my biggest encouragement is not wanting to reverse what I've already achieved.0 -

Plus if its actual binging, which I kind of doubt - I suspect your calorie goal is too low for you - read the book "Brain over binge".
I'm assuming you're an adult, no one is going to spoon feed you a meal plan or a diet plan.0 -
What helped me to stop binge eating is I sat down and I divided my daily total calories into how how much I would have at each meal. I have breakfast , snack , lunch ,snack , dinner , snack. I find trying to hit the smaller goals at each meal gives me less anxiety about reaching my cal goal , which then led me to binge to deal with the stress. -.-
Breakfast is usually oatmeal with a banana , or half a piece of toast with peanut butter, morning snack typically 100gs of yogurt and some fruit , lunch is usually either a salad , soup , chill or eggs(which im aware you said you can't eat) afternoon snack I usually treat myself to a chocolate granola bar high in protein. As for dinner , if I eat with my family it can be a variety of things ,if I'm preparing it by myself usually have again , soup or salad , or chicken or fish with veggies and rice. My nighttime snack is sometimes healthy , but again usually I give into a craving here , but make sure it's with my caloric goals. I've only just started the targets at each meal thing , but so far it seems to help control binging0 -

Good advice. My prior binging was not food specific. I just like food. So, I really had to work hard to learn to moderate what I ate. Set your deficit to lose in a healthy way eating the foods you like, find something you love to do and do it consistently, weigh/measure/log every single bite & keep going. One bad decision should never turn into an out of control day or week. Your brain can be your biggest ally or your worst enemy. As far as a specific plan? Get your calories under control first, then work on macros. You will find you make better choices when you plan your days. Good luck.0 -

Sometimes people binge and lose control because they are trying to adhere to too strict of a 'diet'. Eating the same foods over and over again because they consider them 'diet' foods and excluding whole food groups because they consider them unhealthy. I like eating a variety of foods, fruits, veggies, meat, cheese, eggs, bread, pasta, rice and yes even cookies and ice cream and beer. Just watch your portions!!!0 -
I would recommend you just be honest with yourself and try to figure out why you're binge eating. Is it emotional eating and turning to food for comfort? Is it snacking on food while watching TV out of boredom? Are you setting your calories so low that you're going hungry each day? Is it lazyness after having a few beers and not feeling like cooking? There is SOME reason you're over-consuming food and sabotaging your diet - you just need to figure that out for yourself.
Personally, I never get cravings and it's rare that I eat out of pure boredom (who has time for that). My weakness is enjoying a few beers (delicious, high-calorie IPAs) and then feeling too lazy to cook a healthy dinner after that. I may reintroduce IPAs into my life at some point, but for now I figure there are enough health reasons in favor of giving them up. Everyone's problem and solution is going to be different though, so you need to honestly evaluate your own situation and figure out what's holding you back.0 -
I struggle with bing eating also. I crave sweets terrible. My weight fluctuates 20 lbs regularly. I have found if I don't tell myself I can't have something I do better, I plan my days meals in advance and stick to that plan. If I am trying to decide what to eat last minute I will end up eating pizza, cookies, chips, etc.
I still enjoy a latte in the morning (in my daily plan), it is my one indulgence that causes me to lose control if I don't have. I know it's a learned habit but it is what it is. I have managed to lose 7 lbs in the last week by watching my calorie intake and exercising. I don't deprive myself of anything just cut back on the amount. Half a sandwich instead of whole, salad instead of potato with only a small amount of dressing, or if I really want a potato I find the smallest one possible. I am a sugar aholic and that is usually what gets me. I allow myself a mini chocolate a day (hershey kiss, dove promise, etc). I also will have an occasional spoonful of ice cream, it's just enough to satisfy the craving. I also have good earth sweet and spicy tea on hand, it is sweet (I don't have to add sugar) but only 3 calories.
I realize the weight loss is not going to continue at the rate I have seen last week. When it starts to slow, I will increase my calorie alotment for a few days or maybe take a day off from exercise. The key for me is to keep my body guessing, but also listen to my body. It tells me if I am not eating enough or excersising too little/much. I have some health issues that present challenges for me to exercise regularly for extended periods. Hence the reason my weight fluctuates and well.. I am a foodie.
I leave for vacation in 12 days, really hoping I can at least maintain my weight.
