Just getting round to read this lass and have to say I'm proud to have a women like you on my FL! People are so full of BS excuses and basically it doesn't cut it! You want something bad enough you work for it regardless of obstacles you face!
You are living proof of that and people can leave the excuses at the door!
An inspiration and frankly you keep me motivated!!! :flowerforyou:0 -
I'm so glad I was inspired to read this post and the initial post based on the title! This rejuvenated my spirit! Thank you so much!0

i will be having my surgery later this year. I have always been symptomatic but didn't know I was different from anyone else.
After surgery my breathing and heart well not continue to randomly stop.
I have started lifting recently though, not heavy cause of the passing out thing, but I will continue even after procedure.0 -
Good job!
I had a craniotomy eleven years ago...it's sounds like you had a very short healing time. I couldn't do much other than walking for the first two years. Actually, I couldn't walk at all for a while after the surgery, so even that was a big deal for a time.
Now I am going to have to read more about your condition as I am not familiar with it or with the kind of surgery you had. I've never seen a scar quite like that one either. Mine is under my forehead and on my right side, over my ear.0 -
