Training Journal for Half- Marathon.

hello, i am training for a half marathon that takes place on June 8, 2008. i thought i would document my progress:

April 24- 20 minutes stroll pace
April 25- rest
April 26 - 40 minutes moderate pace

goal for tomorrow is 6.5 km, so we'll see how that goes!

  • Hey - Good for you doing a marathon. I'm doing the March for Babies tomorrow - it's only 5 miles walking but I've always wanted to do a marathon. Good Luck - I hope you do well!

    i don't want to be a downer or burst your bubble, but you are going to need to pick up the pace if you want to do a 1/2 marathon by june! I am also training for a 1/2 in August and it is not easy...

    ya, i was really sick the last couple of weeks...
    i've done 15 k before and it was not bad, and i did it without training.... i'm not really worried, it's only walking.

    oh that's great girl!!! good for you...walking will wear you out too so train wisely! I did a 6 mile walk on the hottest day in June one year and I was a seasoned runner and Lord you'd have thought I did a double marathon...lol...
